German Chocolate Trifle

KC requested German Chocolate Cake for his birthday and I hadn't used my new trifle bowl yet, so I came up with this. The construction:

Chocolate covered cookies crumbled
fresh whipped cream
German chocolate coconut filling
German chocolate cake cubes
chocolate covered cookies
whipped cream
German chocolate coconut filling
German chocolate cake cubes
chocolate covered cookies
whipped cream
German chocolate coconut filling
German chocolate cake cubes
chocolate covered cookies
whipped cream

Everything is just repeated like 4 times. It turned out pretty well. I think it gets even better the next day. We decided now we will just put one candle for every decade.
